Did this video help you?

Redneck Tex: I just want to say Thank You for making this video. Your Instructions were Spot On. Thank You so much for your desire to Help Others.

Ampelio Carr: If my actuator doesn't move when testing it what can I check other wise

Blake Rowlison: Thanks for the tip. I did hook it up and it finally put out heat - before it was just cold air. I tried to put it down in but didn't try to turn it - I'll try that - thanks again!!

Blake Rowlison: The video was very helpful as far as it went but mine is stuck in the cold air position and I can't get any hot air. It was much harder to get off than what it shows and when I went to put the new one on it wouldn't fit. The video showed a good one coming off and then going back on but mine is in a different position than the new one and the new one won't pop down into place. Any ideas on getting it turned so the new part will line up and I can get it hooked up. I don't want to force anything so that I break the new part!! Thanks!!

Daniel Powers: Couple questions,  I have seen different videos, some call it an Actuator and others a blend door.  Are the terms interchangeable?  Some seem to be an actuator behind the glove box, while others are in the center near the gas pedal are these the same, just in different places on different models?   BTW, I have the same issue, no heat,  I don't have a clicking sound.  (also having trouble getting the last screw out).

vqfive: Seem you only get one try to put that small screw towards the back back on. You drop it down back there and you won't get it out. Better  have some extra screws ready LOL

Ray Meadows: Hi my 2001 pontiac grand am blows hot air out one side and cold out the other no matter what temp i adjust it to. Each side works really good like its really hot and really cold. I was thinking the vaccum lines or actuator might be the problem.

malkooth: Excellent video thank you 1A.

Sierra Ward: Im not getting any heat unless im accelerating could this be my problem blows cool air while idling

Brandon Padilla: I replaced the actuator on my Explorer but I can't get it to blow cold air, do you have any suggestions?

Beau Rhodes: Mr Green, Do you have a video for the 1998 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0 V8 4 door 2WD to remove the Center Console to gain access through the access panel to replace the oxygen sensors below the access panel? My thanks in advance.

albert Hovakimyan: Hi. My AC goes off and starts blowing hot air when I go over bumps. And sometimes it doesn't even go on it only blows hot. I have to turn on and off for many times until it starts the cold air.And then I can hear a click noise and turns to hot again.
Any Idea what the problem can be?
Thank you

David Chavez: Thanks a lot for the video! Very helpful

Kendall House: My A/C works just fine, but my heat just blows cool air, could this be my problem? 2002 Ford Expedition?

1A Auto Parts: There may be an issue with the actuator that selects the air duct inside of the tubing. It might also be a vacuum issue. You may want to check for a loose, broke or disconnected vacuum line inside the engine bay or under the hood. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

csimons4266: Hi. Thank you for this (and all the other) video(s). I just bought a 2002 mercury mountaineer and I'm noticing that the air is ALWAYS at the floor by my right foot (driver's side) coming from the bottom of the center console. I can change air locations (defrost, face, feet, mixed locations, etc.) but there is ALWAYS air at the bottom. And it is HOT. It will burn my leg if I rest it against the bottom of the center console when my foot is on the gas. Do you know what this might be?

1A Auto Parts: The blower motor resistor may have gone bad. We carry new ones on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

YouBigChooch: Hey There, my ac was only working on HIGH for a while - if the switch was rolled all the way up, then it would switch on. if i lowered it, it would turn off completely. Now, it wont even switch on in the high position. any thoughts on what it could be?

1A Auto Parts: It could be a bad actuator, if the system runs off of vacuum too, it might be a bad vacuum line. I'd also check in the engine bay and under the dash for a bad vacuum line to see if that might be the issue. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Neobaggio: I have a 00 explorer and the air is blowing only from the windshield vents, the cold-hot temperature feature is working fine but when I turn to a different position, front panel, feet or both front and feet, nothing happens. Actuator? Thanks
