אבנר בן עזרא היהודי: Would this be the cause of only having heat come out of the defrost? The defrost works fine but it will not change direction to a different area like floor or front or does this only apply to changing from hot to cold?
Alfonso Vasquez: how do I check if the blend door actuator is the problem
BlackNGoldRules: I don't know how you manage to get to that back bolt. I can barely get my socket wrench back there and then I have a hell of a time trying to get the socket on to the bolt.
Anthony Rodriguez: I have the ac pointing to head or on head sounds like it blowing hard just not coming out hard
Anthony Rodriguez: How would I know it bad ? I get cold air just not hard and it on hi Thanks great video
mark edward: what size socket is needed to take off the bolt?
stephen sparks: +1A Auto Parts my heat works fine a little too well. Its my ac that isnt working. I already evacuated the freon and recharged it. So i know i has freon and the correct amount. The compressor is cycling. But even when the selector knob to control where the air comes from either the ac or the defrost it always blows hot
Redneck Tex: I just want to say Thank You for making this video. Your Instructions were Spot On. Thank You so much for your desire to Help Others.
Ampelio Carr: If my actuator doesn't move when testing it what can I check other wise
Blake Rowlison: Thanks for the tip. I did hook it up and it finally put out heat - before it was just cold air. I tried to put it down in but didn't try to turn it - I'll try that - thanks again!!
Blake Rowlison: The video was very helpful as far as it went but mine is stuck in the cold air position and I can't get any hot air. It was much harder to get off than what it shows and when I went to put the new one on it wouldn't fit. The video showed a good one coming off and then going back on but mine is in a different position than the new one and the new one won't pop down into place. Any ideas on getting it turned so the new part will line up and I can get it hooked up. I don't want to force anything so that I break the new part!! Thanks!!
Daniel Powers: Couple questions, I have seen different videos, some call it an Actuator and others a blend door. Are the terms interchangeable? Some seem to be an actuator behind the glove box, while others are in the center near the gas pedal are these the same, just in different places on different models? BTW, I have the same issue, no heat, I don't have a clicking sound. (also having trouble getting the last screw out).
vqfive: Seem you only get one try to put that small screw towards the back back on. You drop it down back there and you won't get it out. Better have some extra screws ready LOL
Gaming Goof: Hi my 2001 pontiac grand am blows hot air out one side and cold out the other no matter what temp i adjust it to. Each side works really good like its really hot and really cold. I was thinking the vaccum lines or actuator might be the problem.
malkooth: Excellent video thank you 1A.
Sierra Ward: Im not getting any heat unless im accelerating could this be my problem blows cool air while idling
Brandon Padilla: I replaced the actuator on my Explorer but I can't get it to blow cold air, do you have any suggestions?
Beau Rhodes: Mr Green, Do you have a video for the 1998 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0 V8 4 door 2WD to remove the Center Console to gain access through the access panel to replace the oxygen sensors below the access panel? My thanks in advance.
albert Hovakimyan: Hi. My AC goes off and starts blowing hot air when I go over bumps. And sometimes it doesn't even go on it only blows hot. I have to turn on and off for many times until it starts the cold air.And then I can hear a click noise and turns to hot again. Any Idea what the problem can be? Thank you
