Brandon Brewer: Yea a friend of mine has bought his from bestbuy and it doing the same
thing, he had me look at it and i docked it with my keyboard and was able
to get to the develpers screen and i activated the show touch fuction and
in the upper left hand conner it showed that it was being pressed and i
wasnt touching it there, that shows there is a malfuction in the screen it
self. (The EEE pads and awsome when they are working) best thing i can say
use you warranty.

understand how the quality depratement work of Asus! Is there a quality
departement to check if a prodcut works ?
whatafff11: same issue here... just brought it home from best buy today and first thing
to happen was same as in video above. when i turned it sideways, i was able
to push that start button... but from there it's a nightmare. taking back
to best buy for replacement tomorrow.

responsive cant even type my password and turn it on completely non
functioning in less than 30 days i've always used a stylus and never
dropped or mistreated it.
ugli 81: My TF300T was dead out from the box. Didn't recharge, didn't boot,
nothing... Returned it and the new unit works (so far...)

Soumak Dutta: i have no issues with this. it must be your tablet. mine is silky smooth.
also..the first time i did not have my charger connected. try a reboot
without the charger and see.
RipleYYY: got a "similar" prob (your 2nd one), my screen is OK, but seems too
sensitive in a define part ! when hiting in that part (screen is clean, and
using a pen-touch) the tablet goes mad with multiple touch i didnt made...
this is completly unusable and very irritating still surfing the net to
found some more as me, as it seems to be a hardware problem of course...
and i'm already listening to the asus hotline who will tell me to reset the
tablet to factory setting (already tried of course)
RipleYYY: i'm an "old man", and was still thinking about the asus quality (remember
the good old time of the motherboard), but its the second time i've got a
prob with them, the other is a bad RAM socket in my son laptop... again,
the guy at the hotline knew less than me, and finally i let it go and
changed the bad socket by myself (and than wasted money)... next time will
think again about asus

wants, i touch it the screen and no response, then all of sudden its acting
right. wowfresh out of the box it already has a problem. damn shame.

the same way, charged, quite uncharged, used while in charge or not... :(

Listening Point: I think mine was buggy because the protective screen I bought might not
have been settled all the way. So far no problems at all.

works for an hr than stops working for the rest of the day. I can't even

of the screen doesn't work sometimes. And sometimes it just whacks out.

Edwin Dávila: My screen stops responding from time to time, the touchscreen seems
unreliable. I already complained to Asus, and they told me that they
haven't heard of this issue, which I think is a lie. I will have them
replace it for free. I've only had it for two weeks. It's a shame, because
it was fast when it was working. My wife has the Transformer Prime, and
zero problems with that one.
tra: fyi this exact issue happened to,me. i even did a system reset and it still
did not resolve the issue. i had to return it the following day.
MegaPrimme: I got my TF300 yesterday from amazon. I have the exact same problem as you.
Sending it back tomorrow and asked for a replacement. I had to connect the
keyboard to be able to do anything on it.
BiytursOnSr: I've bought my TF300T just a month ago and i'have 0 problem. I love my
device, i think the best tablet of 2012(Without New Windows 8 Tablets).
Jeff Leinen: I bought mine today and got home to notice about 3 square inches of dead
touch screen near the top. Returning to Best Buy tomorrow.

amanda leyva: when i got my tablet straight out of the box it wouldnt respond to my touch
it would just stay there doing nothing whenever i put it to sleep and turn

Prakash Chakraborty: Mine is different screen problem. It worked very well for 10 days after I
purchased from best buy in Canada and after 10 days the screen was
inactive. I can only see few lines like a screen was having some cracks in

so I managed to get things going; now I've had it for a couple of days and
the touchscreen keeps cutting in and out. Taking it back soon I think.

tf300t anymore! I bought this approx 3 months ago, and there was no problem
for an entire month. Now its completely useless! Wtf???

touch screen problem or anything like that
rvbftc: I got mine from amazon too, same problem with the touch screen, but it was
fine out of the box and then after a month the touch aspect of the screen
just stopped working.

this one works great!
Listening Point: My TF300 was REALLY wonky out of the box. The touch pad would just go nuts
like someone was tapping their fingers on it. I was really worried but
after about a day or so it calmed down and so far works great.
Gregory Perkins: I'm scared to by an android tab now I heard of these problems and acer

wjs1820: Same problem but more intermittent. ASSus tech support wont help me without
a $120 service contract. My HP Touchpad still works better than this POS.
