toplcame: what an annoying shooter, seriously, stop rolling it and starring at the
thehun06: You are annoying at shooting with that stupid roll every time....that gun
seems to have an awkward recoil impulse...down to right...weird
JoeNoShoulders: How solid is the stock? Is there noticeable play?
crashtest2302: whats with the looking at the ejection port?
VerminM: Least natural shooting position ever.
robfrmny21: To bulky looking what's innovative about it ?
Kaltwasser45: I like the gun other than those fugly irons that sit too high on the rail.
Looks like a crap cheek weld with those tall irons. I hope these aren't
standard sights witht the gun.
Stevarooni: How's ~$1,700 strike you? :D In today's environment, yeah, seems
affordable, but eventually ARs are going to get cheaper, and the add-ons
that this thing has won't bring 'em very close in cost.
Mark Johnson: Actually, it is quite innovative. It's fully ambidextrous, easily
convertible, tooless, barrel change takes seconds, alternate barrel for a
new, potentially exciting cartridge, I could go on. As to too bulky, have
you actually held one? Until you do, you might want to think twice about
the comment. The gun is presently available in .22LR and is VERY light and
comfortable to carry. Give it a chance BEFORE you dismiss it.
gurney85: Is he posturing for the camera with those two-round shots and 'tactical
glances' at the ejection port to see if the chamber was empty or something?
Seemed unnecessary and more than a little silly. 'Tis aint hollywood, not
style points for looking tacticool...
Bryanna Paradiso: Ive never heard so many boys say somethings too bulky like they have a hard
time holding a weapon. Its where the mag leads into the barrel that gives
it that appearance and the same lines that run from the stock. innovative
features just look it up lol( Doesn't mean its super effective or that
their even needed but regardless its a unique platform). My big thing is
Beretta never kept anyone in the loop which is stupid as a company. Its
made the people who were interested in it look elsewhere
assaultrecon28: Recoil looks kinda rough for a 5.56
Kaltwasser45: It was a NATO draft making it easier for NATO countries to share
interchangable mags/ammo in 1980. It has to do with common sense , not that
AR mags are magical because we know HK makes the best AR mag :).
03CobraR: Where are you getting that from exactly? The gun appears to be like an AR
with a magpul afg installed already just ahead of the magwell. Should be
able to maneuver well with it. The downsides I see are the reciprocating
charging handle (though you can switch it to another side quickly) and the
position of the selector switch.
beaker2000: He can't count in English... Actually looks like a really nice rifle. Glad
it is making it to the states!
Gustavo Dam: nice
Dustin Boortz: he can't count
Bradley Cox: This dude is retarded.. You dont have to check the chamber every shot..
Unless its got a flaw in the chamber it will see forward...
SuperShooterX: Who the hell is this guy who doesn't know how to operate a gun? Lets see,
you load a 30 round mag, but every few rounds this jackass is checking to
see if it jammed or is empty? What a dumbass.
Tony Archuleta: cool features... but too bulky...
Naegling: Tavor please.
Joshua Davis: Non-reciprocating ambidextrous charging handle. Tool-less caliber changes /
breakdown. Ambi controls and swap-able ejection port. That's about it.
Beretta's take on the ACR.
617Ghost: Please let them dismiss it. It means they'll be available (and hopefully
cheaper) for those of us willing to look beyond the AR-15.
617Ghost: No. No they don't.
jhumpich0311: i really hope this guy doesn't work for guns.com because its very clear
he's never shot a rifle before. he just demonstrated every single bad habit
that i've seen while instructing inexperienced shooters.
Jose: So when are we getting this?!!!
krittmasta: I only hear people say about bulky and ugly. I actually want to have one.
Looking at the design of it, looks like they engineered it really well. If
this is ugly then SCAR would look like only mother can love.
Mark Johnson: Comes in well under $2k. For a weapon of that quality, not so bad.
William Caver: Nice gun. he just can't handle that type of weapon
SmokeRingsPipeDreams: I agree, it appears to have a lot of felt recoil. Light weight is good, but
the trade off is harder recoil. It also looks like it is kind of slapping
him in the face.
furtivedig: +heavy barrel, and ceramic shielding :D
idahoshootist: Glad I didn't buy an ACR. This is twice the gun for less money.
mozzberg: maybe get a real shooter next time? I love the gun, minus the sights
Kaltwasser45: This is the civi version of the ARX160 that is being made for the Italian
Army, which has to follow NATO mag specs. There's no reason for the magwell
to be changed for the civi version .
590A1master: actually it does reciprocate. Has to because its connected to the bolt
Ed J: Yipe's is it affordable?
daf3625: Super bulky, ugly , plastic POS
Heinrich Soltow: They make ARs that do all of that as well.
Mark Johnson: I can't speak to this personally since it isn't released yet, but the .22LR
version I saw was plenty strong. Also, Beretta Ben did a complete review of
the ARX160 and spoke to that subject, saying it had been tested extensively
VerminM: My comment was about the shooter, not the rifle.
Rob Babcock: The stock sights seem a bit too high for a good cheek weld. But I'm really
looking forward to this gun coming out this summer!
nachonad: What is with those sights?
garbanzotheterrible: yeah, really. that rear site is so blocky...
thegr8pulido: Can you put AR-15 triggers in it?
bisuttij: Heavy recoil? Its a .223 / 5.56. There is no such thing as heavy recoil
with those loads....I have a customer AR chambered in .338 win mag.....now
Bryanna Paradiso: But then again the less people are interested the better the odds my BF or
someone else can pick one up and I can try it!
Javier LiCourt: Sold my awesome SCAR in 5.56 for this Beretta ARX. Just can't wait.
