Aaron H: Hello, I need your help ha...We own a granite counter-top shop and we just
bought a T5i take take pictures of our counters when they are finished and
install..I know very little about this camera but I went took pictures for
the first time a couple of days ago and almost all the pictures are a
little bit blurry and none of the pictures really show the real color of
the counters, and capture what i'm trying to get for good photos for our
website..Any help or tips at all would be very helpful
Cameron Spence: Hi Toby - great videos for a newbie like me - really appreciate the tips
and teachings. I'm hoping you can help me try to emulate the zooming on
the fiddlehead that you are doing. I've got a t5i with the 18-55 lens.
When on manual mode, with the auto-focus off, I can't seem to point on the
screen and get an area to zoom in on. It doesn't recognize my finger on
the screen (but will if I switch on auto-focus, but at that point the
magnifying glass is gone). If I hit the magnifying glass I can then click
an area to zoom in on. Any idea what setting I have incorrect to not match
the way you were doing it?
Barbara Altevers: I am having trouble seeing the live view when I am outside? Is there a way
to help with this? When I us my prime lens I can't gauge the dof or the
focus, or really get lighting fine tuned to get the sharp image you were
showing. I do much better inside were I can see the screen. I had a Power
shot before and got the live shot in the view finder, but now I have to
learn to do the settings on the screen before using the view finder. A
little frustrating, and then not to be able to see on the live screen!!!
There has to be a product for this!!
Rachel Donat: is it normal for that magnifying glass to only appear if you have your lens
on manual focus? I put it on auto focus and the magnification glass to get
in for better focus disappears. What am I doing wrong?
E Miff: Excellent video Toby. I am learning so much, you explain things so that
even a old man like me can understand and absorb the info. Thank you.
TNT Myers: I'm confused...so manual mode is better? Teresa
Maximo: Great video! Thanks so much. I think that "Q" is a magnifying glass! haha
John Taka: Did you take these photos with manual mode or auto or macro or what mode ?

magnified. I mean like when it is zoomed in 5x or 10x. I want to capture
that picture. Does anyone know if it's possible at all? I have a EOS Rebel
