Respect2theFallen: quick question when i snap a photo while in live mode it creates a border around tge picture. Is there anyway tp get around that without just shooting outside of live mode. I'm pretty sure Nikons don't do this.

Benjamin S. Valdez: This is not only an excellent guide to understanding your digital camera and getting the most out of it, but also an excellent basic guide to photography. The reader will learn some of the basic differences and benefits of having a digital camera and how to make the most out of its features. Never having had a great deal of experience with photography in general, I was pleased to get my hands on something that not only helped me to understand what all of those different setting on my digital camera do, but to help me take better video in general. https://plus.google.com/b/117576921052578751760/117576921052578751760/posts/Fk3sfQJu8AY

romansten9: you said that the STM lens has full time manual focus. does that mean it's ok to manual focus if my switch is set to auto?

also I heard someone say that it's better to shut the camera off before making any adjustments on the auto/manual switches on the lens

MQPlays: I still don't get what live view does...and what does the composition?

ishaan shaikh: camera name

Uma A: GREAT VIDEO!

Darin Wheeler: I'm new to this and was wondering, do you have to turn back button focusing "off" to take portrait pictures? another words go back into the menu and change the settings back to default if you are going to shoot in Manual? Is back button focusing just for still photos so to speak? Im a little confused ;) Thank you for your time!

TECH BRAIN: is back button where we take shots i mean shutter button?half press it and it will focus and full press it will take photos?

Darin Wheeler: I just got my T5I and was wondering, do you have to turn back button focusing "off" to take portrait pictures? is back button focusing just for still photos so to speak? If you have to turn back button focusing "off" do you have to go back into the menu to do so? Thank you for your time!

TSkeptic: Thank you very much for these videos. Helped me.

David Meng: I like it, thank you. It helps.

Jade Young: Do you have it on manual focus? Or autofocus ?

pisces person: I hope you picked those fiddleheads and didn't let them go to waste! lol

I live in Sactown and fiddleheads are few are far to come by. I've never seen any personally, but it is my lifelong goal to find some and EAT SOME

Eric Johnston: Fiddleheads great eating

coolpras26: Might seem like a novice question - For cameras without touch screen, you focus with the X point focus system? by rotating your red dot into it? OR by focusing and recomposing? I don't think focus and recompose would happen because you need it to lock the focus, so you can magnify and check, right? So, what to do then for cameras without touch screens?

History and Reviews: Pete from the walking dead!!!

Trey Suarez: Is there a way to turn on the AF assist beam in manual mode when shooting at night?

Jones House Publishing: Just got two of these cameras as we work on a documentary based on one of our author's, Montayj's novel Duggan. This video is very helpful.
