Gerry Nightingale: I have serious doubts this would work with a 'GET-3' liquid-cooled engine to upgrade from 50 to 72cc...there would be more torque available for hills, but I believe the engine's cooling would be so compromised the engine would overheat on a regular basis, and the 'Metro' is far too good a scooter to risk a very sophisticated engine loss.Too bad...the idea is very appealing to a 'Metro' owner! But...I can 'hit & hold' 42mph on level roads now, and with the addition of a windscreen, I might get 45mph! Without any radical engine work at all. (I have all the 'normal' performance up-grades already, leaving the exhaust 'stock') Now...a supercharger sounds good! Just a little one, with a 'go-baby-go' switch for emergency power if caught in heavy traffic. That'll work!
777mrpelon: He said he's a fart smeller. Instead of smart feller. Lmao genius
GodfatherMaxi: I have a question, you have only widened the hole and you put a cylinder is gate largest and strongest engine?
T5646766: ? what state you in?
Rodrigo Valdes C.: Where Did you get that drill bit ? or How can you use it?
wippy748s: @k9forkids 150-180cc
k9forkids: no my friend it is a 30ccm increase , 150ccm-180ccm
fiatnutz: I think he said it took the displacement from 50cc to 80cc.
k9forkids: Do you know What the Customer had to say about the Displacement increase?
fiatnutz: Since I hever did one of those, my guess is probably te same way - bore the block to fit a larger bore cylinder. Take a look at the cylinder kit and see what the instructions have to say.
Ryan Murtagh: how do u fit a bore kit on a honda NSR 50
fiatnutz: If you've got the equipment and skill, anybody should be able to figure this out. Yes, boring the 200 is no problem, valve jobs and other crap - no problem either.
Will Thornton: only you can do this? thats what the desciption said. looks pretty damn simple. i think i could probably do this with the right stuff. and can you bore out a ford 200 six? i need some power out of it. what about valve jobs and crap? message me if you are interested.
MCRmechanic: more displacement = more power
which usually equals more speed unless u are limited by gear ratios, ect.
fiatnutz: He also has a big valve head and claims that his top speed will approach 80 mph, up from 60 mph. That's all I know.
