kaloian krastev: Hello Zack, Great video! Just a quick question.... when you take ohm reading from the motor connector how you know how many Ohms you should read for good or bad?
adburket: quick question for you on my 2016CW - the drum will spin for a bit before giving me the LE error code. or, it may not spin at all. Not consistent on this. I replaced the sensor, thinking that was my problem but it did not resolve the issue. Any thoughts?
Elizabeth Dennis: I have a LG model WM0642HW and has been giving me the OE code, we have cleaned out all the drain hoses and replaced the pump and the machine still gives the OE code. We than replaced the control board but are getting the same error code. The problem occurs at 37 minutes rinse and spin cycle. Sometimes if you thump the machine it will start running again? What would be causing this problem? Thanks
hazimwood: my motor read 8.5ohms. when I go to test the board, I get the CE code. Sounds like the stator?
Connor Horwood: Do a washing machine in action video
mitch onie: where did u get the information from. thumbs up
massimo alessi: bravissimo :)
Adrian Gail: Hello,
Hoping you or anyone could help - My LG machine (F1247TD) is not turning on at all... so can't even get into diagnostic mode. Have checked power is coming from the socket, and swapped the fuse in the plug and still no power. Is there an internal fuse perhaps?
The machine was mid wash and I've drained all the water/clothes etc. Can't tell if there were any error codes because the machine was off when I returned to it.
jimf28: I have the LG WM2455HG Front loading washing machine. If I put the drain hose in to the drain pipe which is at 5ft off the ground, the machine makes a loud buzzing sound and wont drain completely. If I take the drain hose and lower it to 3ft off floor and drain into a pail, it works fine. Checked the drain pipe and its not clogged, checked the filter and its clean
Dave D: I have an LG WM2487HRM It starts for about a minute then shuts down, I reset it spin the drum but does it again. now it just wont start any suggestions
KitCox: How do we get service manuals for lg washers?
damaris resto: forgot to take off the shipping screws n now washer wont wrk
John Longest: Hi Zack... I have same model, mine will spin but won't ballance with clothes in it. It will spin at high speed when empty. It stays at 9 min and tries to spin up to speed but never does. I have leveled it and I have replaced the 3 shock absorbers, the pressure switch and the main circuit board. Any Ideas?
Christine Hansen: Hi Zack, Thanks for this video. It was empowering to troubleshoot! I did the dx mode and my washer does spin and give my 45 rpm but it doesn't spin with laundry in it. What do you do if it has RPM's but still isn't working?
snowquadmetal: Could you show how you disconnected the blue three prong connector? I noticed you had to use some force to separate it. I don't want to use excessive force and damage the connector.
Robert Scott: IMPORTANT TIP!! When my LG washer wouldn't spin I called the LG Customer Support line and the woman guided me step by step through cleaning the water filter from a small door on the front after she told me how to drain the tub manually (important). Evidently thread and lint and stuff can clog the filter then it won't drain or spin. 10 minutes and voila it drains, spins and NO repairman or cost. TRY THIS FIRST!!
ADMIN GS: After reading these comments, I really don't think I'll ever consider an LG product... thanks for saving me some time guys :)
swedman255: Is there a video on balancing issues? Thanks great video by the way
Paul Wylie: FYI the bolt I am talking about is the one you see in the center of the housing in the video at 1 min 6 sec.
Paul Wylie: I did all the test and they passed. Washer was still making noise and not spinning with clothes in it. I tightened the bolt on the back of the housing that contacts the tub and now the washer works fine.
